The Capture Strap replaces the left-side shoulder strap of Shimoda Explore v2 series backpacks. Ideal for creators who use a wearable quick release mounting plate like the Capture Clip and other similar camera clips, the mounting strip offers 8" of height adjustment range, so it's easy to dial in the perfect fit. The mounting strip has no bulk to work around, so attaching a camera clip is easier than when attaching to an ordinary padded backpack strap. The mounting strip is above the harness strap, which means the strap padding is behind the camera clip, so the clip won't dig into your body. This Capture Strap is made with the same high-quality nylon fabric, cushioning, and components of the Shimoda Explore v2 series backpacks.
- 8" Height Adjustment Range
- Mounting Strip for Quick Release Plate

Excelent Solution for Camera Clip Attachment
The regular backpack strap for Explore v2 with pouch for a phone was too bulky for attaching my Spider backpack camera clip. This replacement strap easily accommodates the Spider attachment so my camera is readily accessible. The Shimoda strap design facilitates easy replacement of the straps.
Shimoda has an upgrade backpack strap
Shimoda designed a new backpack strap to better accommodate the capture clip. The strap is very east to attack to the backpack and the color matches. If you have any brand of a capture clip for your camera this design is far better because you attach the capture clip onto the strap section which is made to slide the capture clip to the position you want. When you screw on a Peak Design capture clip the screws will not dig into you because the capture strap has the clip touching the strap part and not you. It is much more comfortable.
