Still don't understand why Sony does not include an arca swiss foot. This Leofoto is sooo much better. It's longer and thus much easier to carry the lens around as well as using it on a tripod and monopod. Highly recommend to anyone with this lens. Hope Leofoto is make one exactly like this for the new 100-400mm F4.5 GM lens, fingers crossed.

Well made Lens Foot for the Sony FE 400-800mm f/6.3-8 G OSS Lens. The original Sony one is way too small and it's diffucult to hold when you are out in the field. Also the Sony lens foot is not Arca-Swiss compatible. The Leofoto one is long enough to comfortably hold for a long period of time. The cushion on the foot is well thought out and helpful especially in cold winter conditions. Great price and super fast shipping from B&H. Wish Sony pays attention to Lens foot during it's Product Design. Owners of the Lens should not be spending extra bucks to buy this Lens foot just because of Sony's poor Product Design. I am super annoyed with the lack of Market Research, usability study from Sony given the price of the super-telephoto lens.
