The Kaiser RSP Xtra autoDrive Column is a professional-grade motorized camera support system engineered for precision digitization, reprographic work, and high-resolution image capture. Standing at 85" tall, this column is constructed from multi-chamber, matte black anodized aluminum with printed centimeter and inch scales for accurate visual reference. The system features a cast aluminum camera carrier with motorized vertical adjustment, controllable via computer using the included Kaiser autoDrive software or through a cable remote control. Movement is powered by a self-limiting worm-gear drive that ensures load-independent motion, ±90° camera plate rotation, and high-precision fine adjustment, while a magnetic sensor provides automatic limit stops. The carrier includes parallel gear-guided horizontal adjustment with left/right-hand cranks, two locking screws, and an integrated spirit level for perfect alignment.
The included Kaiser autoDrive software enables exact motorized positioning with repeatable 1/100mm accuracy, supporting up to 500 saved projects with user-defined camera height, brightness levels (for compatible RB 570 AX LED lighting units), and metadata such as lens, focal length, and template size. Real-time controls include scroll bar positioning, status color indicators, direct light output control, and a sortable project list with extensive field inputs.
