Insta360 Xplorer Grip Kit for Ace Pro & Ace Pro 2 (Silver)

Specifically waited for this color

I saw this color variant on B&H and nowhere else online, and I waited for weeks for it to become in stock! I kept the tab open and checked it every few days and finally was able to pull the trigger this past week. Put my Ace Pro inside it and it looks so cute. I played tourist for a day and took pictures around NYC with this setup. This cage is extremely well made and very nice to hold. Clicking the shutter feels nice and satisfying. Removing the camera from the cage is easy. The Insta360 magnetic mount on the bottom still works perfectly and isn't blocked. I don't know about the side microphone accessory but I imagine Insta360 wouldn't release this if it blocked it. There is a release mechanism under the hand grip that splits the grip from the cage and allows you to swap batteries. However you first have to slide out the top shutter bar. If I could change just one thing it would be this shutter bar. I'm not sure how long the piece that slides into the cold shoe will last. It's extremely tight right now but for how much longer? I already see black shavings in the cold shoe. Removing/installing this shutter bar takes more effort and time than I would like personally. I have long slim fingers and the quickest I could remove the bar was about 5 seconds. Doesn't sound like much but it feels a little finicky.
