Outstanding solution for quick changes

I have been a faithful Manfrotto user for 25 years. I upgraded to the ONE hybrid tripod and was so impressed with the XCHANGE mount that I bought 2 additional units. I use tripod with ring light often so I put one on it and a second on another ARCA clamp. Now I can swiftly remove the ring light and mount the second clamp to use the camera directly on the tripod. Awesome quality very well thought out and made of top tier materials. Thanks Manfrotto!!

The Manfrotto XCHANGE is a great improvement over the Manfrotto MOVE quick release

I love the Manfrotto XCHANGE quick release and prefer it over the earlier Manfrotto MOVE quick release. The XCHANGE has a locking switch and the screw head that secures the plate to my telescope is readily accessible. The flat head screw on the MOVE plate is positioned in a way that makes it impossible to get a screwdriver blade that fits the slot at a right angle to the screw. This is exacerbated by the softness of the MOVE plate's screw metal, making it easy to damage the screw head slot. Someone told me they acquired a hex head screw for it to alleviate this problem, but I still would prefer the XCHANGE for the design of the base and its locking switch.

Is this better than the Manfrotto Move system, it seems to be much cheaper?

The Manfrotto XCHANGE is Manfrotto's more traditional quick-release system, best for focusing on tripod head and accessory swapping, while Manfrotto MOVE is a newer, faster, more flexible quick-release system that's a bit easier to use and more versatile for changing between many types of accessories, including tripods, sliders, gimbals, stands, etc.
