The compact UXG-FIBER Gateway Fiber from Ubiquiti Networks allows you to secure, manage, and monitor your network devices. As an independent gateway, it provides up to 5 Gb/s IDS/IPS routing with advanced security features, but does not directly support UniFi applications.
The Gateway Fiber may be placed between your network switch and ISP through the 10 Gb/s RJ45 Ethernet and SFP+ fiber WAN ports to help manage traffic and deter threats. Powered by a 2.2 GHz Cortex A73 quad-core processor with 2GB of memory, the Gateway Fiber can efficiently support VPN connections while features such as a stateful firewall help to protect your network. This compact, plug-and-play device supports multiple internet connections while multi-WAN load balancing optimizes connectivity. A 10G SFP+ LAN port provides fiber connections to local devices. Additionally, the integrated 4-port 2.5 Gb/s RJ45 switch includes one 30W PoE+ port that can deliver power and data to compatible devices such as access points and cameras.
