Some MB makers don't have a new bios update for i9-14900k as of 10/31/2023, hence the question since the core count is the same for i9-13900k and i9-14900k. Obvious solution is just not available to some users.

If the Maximum Number of PCIe Lanes is 20, and you add a graphics card, and 1 m.2, can you add 2 more m.2 for 3 total?

There are no PCIe 5 graphics cards yet so there is no big issue. Go to Gamer's Nexus Youtube video on Lane switching. At worst between 3 and 4th gen there's only a 1 to 2% drop in performance.
