The crush and waterproof 1637AirNF Wheeled Hard Case from Pelican is made from lightweight HPX2 polymer for protecting your sensitive gear. The case secures with a push-button latching system that uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut on three sides. This edition of the 1637Air comes lined but without foam or other inserts, allowing you the freedom to completely customize the large 23.4 x 17.6 x 13.3" interior to your specific needs and gear. Carry the case using one or more of the three overmolded handles or extend the pull handle and tow it behind you on its two low-profile, quiet-running wheels.
Made of a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer with honeycomb structural elements, it is up to 40% lighter than other Pelican polymers. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating, dual 5/16" diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. For easy identification, there's a polycarbonate card holder on the front of the case.
