Developed with the Guitar God Steve Vai himself, the Morley Classic Bad Horsie Wah is a wah pedal with switchless operation, meaning you need only place your foot on the treadle to engage the wah and step off to bypass. This pedal features two wah modes—Bad Horsie wah mode for Steve Vai's preferred tone and sweep, and Contour wah mode for control over output frequency.
When Contour mode is engaged, the Contour knob precisely controls your output sweep frequency. The Level knob adjusts output volume for both modes. With an electro-optical design there are no pots to wear out, ensuring a long operating life. The premium buffer circuit also maintains pure tone when bypassed. The Classic Bad Horsie can be powered by either a 9V battery or a standard 9V power supply (both sold separately). Constructed from durable cold-rolled steel, the Classic Bad Horsie is built to last.
Electro-optical designs ensure smooth pedal control without unwanted noise typical with potentiometer (pot) controlled pedals. No more pots to get scratchy and wear out.
