Hi, Could you please identify the correct RCA audio cable to use with this player as an accessory? Thanks
Asked by: David
Hi David! That's an excellent question. We're here to help. While your BDP-S1700U does not have built-in RCA analog audio outputs, it does provide a high-quality digital coaxial audio output. The good news is that you can certainly adapt this digital signal to work with your existing RCA-only audio equipment. What you'll need is a Digital to Analog Audio Converter. This type of adapter will take the digital audio signal from your Blu-ray player's coaxial output and convert it into an analog stereo signal that can be sent to your audio receiver or sound system via standard red and white RCA cables. These converters are widely available at electronics retailers and online. Thanks for considering Sony products. We sincerely hope this information is helpful to you! Best regards, Estefany
