The AP-640 Replacement Foot for Sony FE 400-800mm f/6.3-8 G OSS Lens from Wimberley functions as an Arca-type compatible quick release plate for the lens. This accessory adds stiffness over the factory tripod mounting foot when connected to a lens plate to reduce flex and vibration. Designed to produce more secure mounting, this accessory creates more ideal geometry for using the lens with a Wimberley Sidemount Head and Sidekick to allow for the lens to balance optimally. The AP-640 provides a QD socket for sling mounting. Constructed with anodized aluminum and stainless steel, the AP-640 securely holds the lens. The AP-640 includes four 8mm M3 mounting screws, two 6mm safety stop screws, and a 2.5mm T-handle hex key.
