Modular Probe Zoom System
Create an array of unique, immersive shots using the Laowa Probe Zoom 15-24mm T8 & 15-35mm T12 Lenses with Direct, 35°, Periscope & 90° Modules from Venus Optics. This ultrawide, full-frame probe system comprises two parfocal zooms and 0° direct, 35°, 90°, and periscope view front modules. It features up to 2.3x magnification and a super close 0.2" minimum working distance.
Four Perspective Modules
This Laowa probe zoom system includes all four available perspectives: direct, 35°, 90°, and periscope view.
- 0° direct view: Lets you capture direct views for tabletop shots and in other confined spaces.
- 35° view: Enables you to capture high- and low-angle shots without tilting your camera rig.
- 90° view: Lets you capture unique angles like side or overhead shots without tilting your camera rig.
- Periscope: Used to capture views parallel to but offset from your camera body.
Superwide 15-24mm and 15-35mm Zooms
- The 15-24mm and 15-35mm focal length ranges provide ultrawide views.
- Use the faster 15-24mm T8 or choose the 15-35mm T12 when higher light levels are available.
- The super close 0.2" working distance reveals the tiniest of details.
- Get up to 1.6x magnification of your subject with the 15-24mm and up to 2.3x with the 15-35mm.
Interchangeable ARRI PL Mounts
The Laowa probe zooms come with ARRI PL mounts and can be used with separately available Canon EF or RF, L mount, Nikon Z, and Sony FE mounts.
High-Quality Optics
- This probe system's optical design provides optimal sharpness and superior image quality.
- The waterproof barrels range from 21.2 to 21.5" long, letting you craft unique traveling shots in tabletop and underwater setups.
Waterproof Cine-Style Design
- The cine-style focus, iris, and zoom barrels all feature 0.8 MOD cine-style gears, which are compatible with follow focus and lens control systems.
- The focus barrels rotate 90° for focus pulls.
