The RX6025sas Expansion Unit from Synology provides high density storage expansion for their HD6500 servers. Built with a 4 RU form factor, it has 60 drive bays which support 3.5" SAS hard drives and 2.5" SATA SSDs through quick installation and intuitive setup in Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM). If you need even more storage, up to four RX6025sas units are supported. Connectivity to your HD6500 is established using one Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) port, while a second SFF-8644 port allows for connectivity to additional expansion units, so you'll be able to to tackle large-scale applications requiring cold or warm storage.
Please note that to install 2.5" SATA SSDs, 2.5" drive trays (R5) must be purchased separately.
