Inside this thin and light notebook is a 3.5 GHz 5 Pro 230 6-Core processor with a 16 TOPS NPU, which quickly handles demanding AI workloads such as Microsoft Copilot+ to organize your data, communicate, and more. With 32GB of 5600 MT/s DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD, you can smoothly load and multitask demanding applications. Its 16" 1920 x 1200 anti-glare IPS panel is driven by integrated AMD Radeon 760M graphics and has a 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits of brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, covers 62.5% of the sRGB color gamut, and has wide 178° viewing angles.

Network connectivity may be achieved using Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), while Bluetooth 5.4 lets users connect wireless peripherals. Other integrated features include a 5MP IR webcam with facial recognition via Windows Hello, dual 1W speakers, and dual-array mics. The EliteBook 8 G1a also includes two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 ports which support Power Delivery, DisplayPort 2.1, and HP Sleep and Charge, a 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port which supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4, a powered 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack. The installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro.
