Implement general surveillance and capture license plate information from moving vehicles day and night with the HyperFire UHD 4K Surveillance License Plate Capture Camera from RECONYX. This unit recognizes and captures license plates of vehicles traveling at up to 40 mph. The camera is triggered in just a quarter of a second when the PIR sensor detects movement as far as 100' away. The Hyperfire UHD 4K saves images and video onto a user-supplied SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory card up to 1TB in capacity and runs on 12 user-supplied AA NiMH rechargeable or Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. Alkaline batteries are not compatible with this camera.
To deter theft, Reconyx CodeLoc Pass-Code Protection employs a four-digit code to use the cam, while the housing is holed for an optional Python-style security cable.
