Designed to route up to eight analog mic or line signals through the PATCH series ecosystem or beyond, the Flock Audio CX is a level adjuster, booster, and preamp module with eight XLR-1/4" combo inputs and one 8-channel DB25 output. By using the CX standalone app or PATCH app, you can independently control routing and processing for each channel in live or studio environments.
With no digital conversion anywhere in the signal path your distributed and/or processed analog signals remain 100% transparent with no latency, making this module (and the PATCH system) ideal for live audio setups. Each channel can have 48V phantom power assigned individually, with front-panel LEDs indicating which channels are assigned phantom power. The module includes a USB-B port for host control and a threaded, locking power input. With versatility in mind, the CX module can be easily placed on a desktop, the floor, or optionally rackmounted. The CX includes rack ears, an external power supply, an IEC power cable, a locking DC power cable, and a USB-B to USB-A cable.
