Seems like a good solid drive

Attached this to my mac mini, seems to work well. There might be an issue with directory caching because when you select it there is a delay in bringing up the file list.

Fast!

I've been using old school drives (WD Book Drives 8-12 TB mostly) for project backups. But I'm a video editor and have big projects - 4-8K RED and equivalent footage and have had MANY incidents of something going wrong during a 12+ hour backup...so I thought I'd try this out. I backed up many projects off 2 drives in 6 hours - 12-48 hours with issues the old way - and the biggest thing was that there were no headaches, no worries. From now on, it's worth the money for me to not lose my mind every time I have a big backup. The drive itself feels more substantial than any drive I've owned - smaller/heavier than G-drives. Realistically, you can't judge a drive until it fails and I have no data on that, but I'm feeling nothing but love so far.
