Nanlite Projection Attachment for Bowens Overview

Designed for precision and efficiency, the Projection Attachment for Bowens Mount with 25-45° Zoom Lens from Nanlite features zoom capability, which significantly improves control. The projection attachment enables a variable 25 to 45° beam angle, with a focusing ability that delivers a higher light output. It is fully compatible with standard Bowens mount fixtures under 800W, such as the brand's Forza, FC, and FS series LEDs. Thanks to the 360° rotatable lens barrel, zooming does not require the removal of gobos or shutters. A convenient, yoke-free 6 lb design allows you to attach the accessory directly to the fixture. This projection attachment is heat resistant, lightweight, and compact, making it a useful tool for solo creators and compact studios.

Better Control
Experience easy and convenient operation with an integrated optical design that permits variable beams and focusing. A simple 360° rotatable lens barrel enable easy transitions from medium to wide beam angles. The aspherical lens minimizes distortion, while its optical coating provides better light transmission for image clarity and color accuracy. Slide the lens forward or backwards to find smooth focus and defocus options.
Creative Light Shaping
Achieve a variety of patterns that add creativity to your shots with sharp projections. Four gobos, a gobo holder, and a gel frame are included to expand your possibilities. A magnetic aperture blade is also supplied in order to improve beam quality and reduce stray light. Nanlite also offers an optional 18-blade iris to further control the beam diameter.

I’ve noticed that some of the other reviews aren't reviewing the correct product. I will do this, it is for the zoomable attachment mount from Nanlite, 25-45 degrees. It works excellently, very compact. Besides being able to zoom from a wider beam to a narrower beam, you can focus as well. I’ve heard other gaffers say it will never be as good as a proper single-diameter mount. But I feel that, in most situations, it will be absolutely fine to use this in most professional settings. I love that I can mount it on a light, and not the other way around. It’s so lightweight! Anyway, Great so far. I will update if any issues arise. Gobos come tucked on the side, kinda hidden, don't assume they are missing as I did.

Really well made, zero complaints as far as functionality go. Probably a bit overbuilt, ends up being pretty heavy, it's ok when mounting lighter fixtures but can't really attach any of the big LEDs. Comes with a truly excellent carry case, tough and protective.

Yes, the Nanlite Projection Attachment for Bowens Mount with 25-45° Zoom Lens should fit any Bowens S front accessory mount, as long as the COB or bulb has the space to fit between the collar and the first glass element in the projector.

Regarding the Nanlite Projection Attachment for Bowens Mount with 25-45° Zoom Lens and whether it can work with the Nanlux Evoke 150C, no, the Nanlux Evoke 150C RGB LED Spotlight has a proprietary NL mount and does not accept the Bowens S mount. You will need the Nanlux NL Mount Projection Attachment for Evoke Series (15-30°).

Does the 25-45 works with Amaran 200x, Amaran 300c in all modes, and looks sharp? if not, what modes wouldn't work?

Sharpness will come from the lens focus and distance from a flat surface; it will have nothing to do with different modes like HSI and CCT. Effect modes may be affected.

The Nanlite Projection Attachment for Bowens Mount with 25-45° Zoom Lens does not come with an iris. It is additional, and it is the Nanlite Iris for Forza 60 and 60B LED Monolight Projector, BH #NAPJFZ60AI (https://bhpho.to/3Nlm7Cu).

Will this work on the Nanlux Evoke 600C? Or will the twist lock on the light prevent this attachment from being able to physically fit?

The Nanlite Projection Attachment for Bowens Mount with 25-45° Zoom Lens is not compatible with the Nanlux Evoke 600C. For this light, I would recommend the Nanlux NL Mount Projection Attachment for Evoke Series (15-30°), BH #NAPJNLM1530, instead.
