Hi-Fi Acoustic Architecture
The acoustic architecture of each speaker consists of one horn-loaded planar magnetic tweeter and one 6.5" long-throw aluminum diaphragm mid-woofer with an aluminum basket. The drivers are powered by dual stereo PurePath Ultra HD Class-D TI amplifiers, allowing the system to deliver 256W (RMS) total output power. With the professional audio processing circuit, the frequency response covers the range from 38 Hz to 40 kHz with the SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) higher than 85 dB(A).
Bluetooth Input
The Bluetooth SoC features Qualcomm aptX HD technology, supporting audio signals with a sampling depth of up to 24-bit and a sample rate of up to 48 kHz.
Wired Connectivity
In addition to wireless Bluetooth, the S3000MKII boasts a full suite of wired inputs to accommodate just about any audio device, including stereo RCA and balanced XLR analog inputs. For digital sources, these speakers support high-resolution input from optical and digital coaxial, as well as USB-B for connecting directly to a computer.
High-Resolution Processing
Edifier has adopted top-of-the-line high-performance chipsets from Texas Instruments and XMOS XU216 for end-to-end digital audio processing. All the core modules support high-resolution audio signals no less than 24-bit, 96 kHz. The redundant design of the circuit brings powerful signal processing ability, ultralow distortion across the audio band, and superior audio quality.
Hi-Res Audio Certified
All the digital interfaces support the processing of 24-bit, 192 kHz digital audio signals. The analog audio front end from Texas Instruments features the special configuration to work at 24-bit, 96 kHz, guaranteeing bit-perfect audio conversion. The overall performance exceeds the requirements of Hi-Res Audio certification.
