Must have adapter for listening to music wirelessly from the phone

This small adapter is a must have if want to listen to the high-quality music over Bluetooth from your phone. Standard iPhone Bluetooth is locked to Apple's AAC codec with subpar quality and extra compression. BTD 700 allows you to bypass iPhone's Bluetooth stack limitation and use Qualcomm's aptX adaptive or aptX lossless codec. It's very easy to configure - just plug into your phone, wait until device is recognized as a new audio output, and pair with the headphones. When you start playback, you should see color indicator on the adapter turn from light blue to purple - this means using aptX lossless codec for the best sound. The only challenge I had is some color confusion - it is hard to distinguish blue from purple on the bleak dim light on the adapter. Sennheiser surely need to make it at least lighter for better visible color separation. Hence 1 star off (if I could, I'd take off only half a star).

This is the second one I've tried, this newer version is no better than the BTD 600. Tried using them on my Macbook Pro, tried using them on my iphone 16 pro. They don't connect, they blink and blink and blink but never establish a connection. Waste of money.

Using Auracast, the Sennheiser BTD 700 Bluetooth USB-C/USB-A Adapter can broadcast to an unlimited number of receiving devices that are also equipped with Auracast.
