Kopul ECC-150 Reviews
Reliable, secure, well-made cable for a variety of uses
When you're working with audio, the last thing you want to worry about is your cables. I've been using this etherCON cable as part of an audio setup, and it has been exactly what I was hoping for. It feels like a cable that's built for professional production work where reliability really matters. I'm using it with a four channel XLR over network system, and it has performed flawlessly. The locking etherCON connectors are one of my favorite features because once they're connected, they stay connected. That's a huge advantage. I don't have to worry about someone accidentally tugging on the cable and interrupting the signal. The build quality is excellent. The cable feels rugged without being overly stiff. The connectors feel solid, and the strain relief on each end gives me confidence that it's going to hold up to the constant setup and teardown that production gear can go through. While I'm currently using it for audio applications, it's nice knowing that it's versatile enough for video, networking, and other professional uses as well. It's the kind of cable that can easily become a permanent part of your production kit because it's ready for whatever job comes next. This is a high-quality cable that inspires confidence every time I use it. It's well made, been dependable, and built for real world production environments where you simply need your gear to work. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review.]
Avoid Kopul
Bought two of these for an install. The manufacturer coiled it up tremendously twisted and kinked all along the length of the cable. Spent hours trying to work the kinks out. After that I'm not seeing any transmission errors and this is a one and done install so I'll go ahead and use them. Hopefully I won't have to rip them out and replace. I would NEVER use this for anything mobile. This is the first and certainly the last Kopul product I'll buy. It was cheaper than all the rest and I tried to save a few bucks. Should have known better. Spend a little more and be happier.
