Make your rig roar with the Fuzzsquatch Fuzzdrive from Interstellar Audio Machines, a meticulous recreation of the Big Muff Pi fuzz pedal, which delivers the unique sustained distortion of this classic pedal. Sporting the same all-analog op-amp design of Big Muff Pi with a useful tone bypass switch, you can easily and instantly go from killer overdrive to mountains of fuzz.
The Fuzzsquatch Fuzzdrive is not like other more common fuzz pedals and delivers a unique sound with the signature harmonic distortion sustain that made the Big Muff Pi so famous in the late '60s. The pedal sports Volume, Sustain, and a wide-sweeping Tone control knob. Top-mounted I/O jacks make it easier to fit the Fuzzsquatch on modern pedalboards and keep cables neat and organized. This pedal can be powered by either a 9V battery or a common 9 VDC power supply (both sold separately). The Fuzzsquatch Fuzzdrive is made in the USA.
The circuitry of the Fuzzsquatch Fuzzdrive differs from the traditional transistor-based Big Muff circuit in that it uses operational amplifiers (op-amps) to achieve its signature sustaining distortion sound. With widely sweeping tone controls and a character all its own, the Fuzzsquatch Fuzzdrive will surely be a formidable addition to your sonic arsenal.
