Lenovo M70s Gen 6 Overview

Enhance your productivity with the power of AI by outfitting your office or home with the Lenovo ThinkCentre M70s Gen 6 Desktop Workstation. Equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225 10-Core Series 2 processor with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, this compact system is designed to take on challenging workloads.

Powered by integrated Intel HD Graphics, you can connect displays to the HDMI 2.1 and dual DisplayPort 1.4a ports. With two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports on the front panel, you can transfer up to 10 Gb/s with compatible devices. There is also a front-facing USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port that works with up to 5 Gb/s devices and provides 15W charging for mobile devices. It is accompanied with two front and four rear USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, supporting peripherals such as the included mouse and keyboard. There is also a DVD±RW optical drive. Wi-Fi 6E support and a Gigabit Ethernet port allow you to connect to compatible networks. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

The Intel Core Ultra 5 225 processor powers applications with six Performance cores while the four Efficient cores handle background tasks. The processor features a 4.9 GHz Max Turbo frequency.

The ThinkCentre M70s Gen 6 includes four DDR5 UDIMM memory slots, one 3.5" drive bay, one 2.5" drive bay, and two M.2 SSD slots. There is also a low-profile PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. The desktop already comes with an optical drive.
Windows 11 Pro
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.

I'm using this workstation as a security camera NVR. 34 cameras recording 24x7. Also runs a network backup application for organization PCs. I'm very happy with this system both its performance and farm factor.
