This SSD has an overall capacity of 400GB, an NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 interface, an M.2 2280 form factor, sustained sequential read speeds of up to 3000 MB/s, and sustained sequential write speeds of up to 650 MB/s. It also features an endurance (TBW) of 700TB, a 3 million hour MTBF (mean time between failures), and an UBER (uncorrectable bit error rate) of <1 sector per 1017 bits read.

Note: Upgrade DSM to version 7.2.2-72806 and onward before installing this drive (only applicable to models with DSM).

Well worth the upgrade

I put two of these in my Synology for a read/write cache. It very much speeds it up. Especially if you use a Mac to do Time Machine backups it will massively decrease the time it takes to run a backup if you put the BTRFS metadata on the read/write cache.
