Kit is usually $49-$69. B&H had it so much cheaper. The upgrade isn't super easy, but creality has videos to help you. I upgraded both my K1 and K1C. While the K1 isn't using CFS, I like that to retract filament, now it just uses the built in cutter and i can manually pull filament out, rather than heating up nozzle, pulling filament out.
