I received it last week. I struggled to get it attached to the lens and the camera. The tolerances are very snug and tight. I feared forcing the lens onto it but it finally connected. It seems to be working well so far. The focus seems to be very smooth. I have a Contax Zeiss Sonnar and I'm attaching it to a Leica M3 with this adaptor. I also attached it on the outside mount to a Nkkor S 135mm with no issues. I haven't finished the first roll of film yet so final results pending.

Contax RF to Leica M Adapter

Well made Fotodiox Contax RF to Leica M adapter for both outside & inside mount Contax RF lenses. Using the adapter for mounting a vintage 1939 Carl Zeiss Jena RF 5.0cm F1.5 Sonnar (inside mount) to a Leica M240P. Line up the red dot on the lens to the red dot on the adapter & insert the lens into the adapter. Turn the lens firmly while holding the adapter until the tab on the lens engages into the slot cutout of the adapter. The adapter has a helicoid for focusing. Lens focuses to infinity. To unmount the lens from the adapter, push down on the adapter’s curved tab (the tab with the slot) at the same time you rotate the lens. The lens’ tab will disengage from the pushed down tab and release the lens. The adapter is very similar to the Amedeo Contax to Leica M adapter that is virtually impossible to find. Glad that Fotodiox is making this adapter for vintage lens enthusiasts and Sonnar lovers.
