Artillery Shell Cello from Soundiron is a unique handmade instrument created by Dust Bowl Guitars. Based on the concept of a traditional cello, this instrument features an empty metal artillery shell as the body of the instrument, resulting in an eerie, shimmering, metallic resonance.
The Artillery Shell Cello was recorded acoustically with large diaphragm condenser microphones and a contact pickup. It features over 380 live phrases in every key. The Phrases preset includes a powerful Sequencer function, allowing you to craft your own perfect sequence of live phrases. With independent start, stop, and pitch controls for each step in the sequence, the possibilities for custom creations are endless. With up to 32 steps per sequence, you can choose the playback direction from looping to single shot, from forward to reverse, or even random.
