Los Andes Pan Flutes from Soundiron was created with four traditional Argentinian pan flutes, exploring a broad key range and variety of chromatic articulations, expressive effects, and phrases. At well over a meter in length, the Toyo covers the bass range with rich sub-harmonics and a fat, breathy tone. The Zanca and Malta span the lower and upper midrange, and the Ch'ulli reaches into the soprano range.
You can play the entire range as a combined instrument or choose individual flutes. The sustains and 3 staccato speeds offer you a choice of clean non-vibrato, vibrato, and whispering flautando styles, in both piano and forte dynamics. The crescendo and decrescendo expressions and special flute effects add plenty of spice to the mix. All chromatic articulations feature round-robins. The level of depth and detail lets you craft lush, natural pan flute arrangements, while the advanced sound-shaping and performance features give you the freedom to explore.
