For as much as I have paid for this product, I should not have intermittent outages. WiFi actually "disappears" periodically.

It works for me. I simply needed more ports with WI-Fi internet gateway. It is connected to the additional router I use as an access point. Plugging cables into front is a little bit of a pain because the unit is small and Cat 5e cables not known for superb flexibility.
