The RF1-N TTL Macro Ring Flash for Nikon cameras from Neewer is a macro/close-up lighting solution that works great to capture portraits, plants, insects, small objects, and other macro photography subjects. It consists of two components: a main control body that slips into your camera's hot shoe, and the ring flash that mounts onto your lens using one of the eight included adapters. Neewer includes 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, and 77mm rings for wide compatibility. The brand also supplies a set of white, red, green, and yellow gel filters for creative use. The macro ring flash is powered by four optional AA batteries that give you 100 to 1500 flashes.
Three Flash Modes
Easily select between three flash modes. Compatible with Nikon's TTL system for automatically finding the correct exposure, the RF1-N also offers adjustable manual flash output from 1/1 to 1/128, and a Multi mode for creative stroboscopic flashes. In TTL or M modes, the flash ratio is adjustable in 1/2 stops. Another highlight is A/B flash tubes that can be individually or simultaneously controlled. Additionally, two focus lights enable 10 different brightness levels.
Power
Powered by four optional AA batteries, the RF1-N supports 1/400-1/19300 sec flash duration with 0.1-2.7 sec recycling time. Users can also connect the flash to an external power source using a CP-E4 port.
