The PRO CFexpress v4 Type B Memory Card from RED DIGITAL CINEMA has a capacity of 2TB and is certified by RED to meet the high performance needs of the KOMODO-X, V-RAPTOR, and V-RAPTOR XL cameras. It supports precision recording of high bit rate files with industrial grade performance and durability extended through the capacity of the card. When shooting with the V-RAPTOR 8K, data rates max out at 800 MB/s, while speeds of up to 560 MB/s are realized with the KOMODO-X 6K.

Please note that RED PRO CFexpress v4 Type B media is supported in firmware 2.0.4 beta or later. This card comes with a limited 3-year warranty supported by Angelbird Technologies. To receive the full warranty, register your product on Angelbird's site within 30 days of purchase.

Red does not make a 4TB version of the RED DIGITAL CINEMA 2TB PRO CFexpress v4 Type B Memory Card; however, there is the previous RED DIGITAL CINEMA 4TB PRO CFexpress 2.0 Type B Memory Card, B&H # RE7500101.

Is this manufactured by Angelbird, and if so why it the sustained write speed slower?

The RED DIGITAL CINEMA 2TB PRO CFexpress v4 Type B Memory Card is manufactured in collaboration with Angelbird. The card has similar specs and speed to the Angelbird 2TB AV PRO SE CFexpress v4 Type B Memory Card, B&H # ANAVP2T0CFX2; however, the RED version is specifically optimized and certified for RED cameras, while the Angelbird card is general purpose. The RED card is listed with an 800 MB/s max write speed because the speed of the card is limited by the camera it's used in: 800 MB/s in the V-RAPTOR 8K and 560 MB/s in the KOMODO-X.

The CFexpress Type B cards, such as the RED DIGITAL CINEMA 1TB PRO CFexpress v4 Type B Memory Card, and CFexpress Type A cards are completely different memory cards when it comes to size, dimensions, and compatibility.

Could this work with the Nikon ZR?

Yes, the RED DIGITAL CINEMA 1TB PRO CFexpress v4 Type B Memory Card will work in the Nikon ZR camera. However, the Nikon ZR does not use the V4 speed. The only benefit to a V4 card would be transferring the files from the card to a computer when using a card reader that supports the V4 speed.
