I wanted to like this cover. I'm using another one for my 180-600mm lens. With this lens extending out quite a distance, the lens would have to be a dust magnet. So, I purchased the cover. But, with the lens cover in place, I could not close the lens fully, which meant that I could not lock the lens. So, I returned it. Another minor sore spot was the directions weren't well written.
