I wanted more creative photos amongst my landscape photography so I did research and ended up with the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 lens. I took it out and it lived up to the reviews I have read. The photos were sharp, consistent, wide with no distortion. The small amount of vignetting is easily fixed through editing. The lens is super wide and very light to carry. Very happy with my decision.

The Venus Optics Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Lite Zero-D MF Lens (Canon RF, 14-Blade Aperture) is a manual focus lens. It will only focus from the focus ring. And it will do that in photo and video shooting.

Nikon Z mount question for Real Estate video reels

Nikon Z mount question for Real Estate video reels would be best? Would the Auto Focus or manual Focus get better results?
Asked by: Wade
The Venus Optics Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Lite Zero-D AF Lens (Nikon Z, 5-Blade Aperture) (B&H # VE1228AFNZ) does offer autofocus with Nikon Z-mount-based cameras (and, in other versions, too, with corresponding mounts), but manual focus would typically be used if using the lens for a walkthrough or establishing a video shot to prevent the focus from suddenly shifting in an undesirable way. Having said that, AF is very helpful and great for getting quick shots wherever you go.
