Ideal as a front-end mic pre in studios and mobile recording setups, the API Audio 3124V is a 4-channel mic pre with variable output control. Offering up to 65 dB of clean mic gain, front-panel Hi-Z inputs, and LED VU meters on each channel, the 3124V is an optimal start for any signal.
The 3124MV features pristine API circuitry, including the AP2516 input transformer, 2520 op-amps, and a custom output transformer. Each input channel sports level and gain controls, as well as buttons for polarity inversion, 48V phantom power, a -20 dB pad, mic/line input selection, and the 3:1 transformer tap function, which reduces the gain ratio from 1:3 to 1:1. Rear-panel connections include balanced XLR inputs and outputs per channel. Finally, the unit sports a universal internal power supply with manual switching, supporting international power standards.
