Ideal for boosting and warming up a wide range of signals, the API Audio 535-LA is a 500-series line amplifier module with 31-position detented input trim and continuously variable output level control. With discrete 2510 and 2520 op-amps and API's proprietary transformers, this module offers classic API character and warmth and in a compact and portable package.
The 535-LA features numerous functions for calibrating your signals, including a -20 dB input pad, a polarity inversion button, and a Calibrate Level button, which bypasses the input and output level controls in favor of calibration trim controls. Variable output gain ranges from 6 to 45 dB. The three-position Output Ratio switch allows you to toggle three different output transformer gain ratios, ideal for driving long, balanced lines with low distortion. The 535-LA features a single LED for clip indication.
