The Evno CLX-W2 is a complete dual wireless microphone system designed for clarinet and oboe. Its double microphone design mounts to the instrument with one microphone over the keys and one at the bell, delivering a natural, full-range sound. Paired with the W2 dual-channel wireless system, it offers true flexibility with independent control of two microphones—ideal for players who need expanded wireless setups.
Please note that while the CLX-W2 is a dual microphone system, both the included mics use a single A1 transmitter. A second, separately available transmitter/microphone combination is required to access the second channel on the W2 receiver.
Dual Wireless with Separate Outputs
At the heart of the system is the W2 dual-channel receiver, which supports two microphone transmitters at once. Simply add an additional Evno mic and transmitter combination for compact, dual-channel performance that accommodates two performers simultaneously. Independent XLR outputs allow for separate EQ and volume control of each channel, with a 328-foot wireless range and diversity antennas providing stable, dropout-free performance. The system is well-suited for live shows, ensemble settings, and multi-instrument performances.
Compact Receiver with Rackmount Kit
The half-rack receiver is built into a metal chassis and includes a rackmounting kit and BNC extension cables. The antennas feature BNC locking connectors for rear or remote mounting. An LCD display provides clear readings of frequency, audio, and RF levels, while XLR and mirrored 1/4" outputs offer flexible connection options.
Beltpack-Free Clip-On Transmitter
The included A1 transmitter clips directly to the CLX dual microphone assembly, eliminating bulky belt-packs. 5.5" and 4" flex-stay goosenecks allow precise mic placement, and a 70/30 pre-set mix balances the sound from the keys and bell. A precision shockmount system reduces unwanted handling noise while preserving tone clarity.
Flexible, Expandable Design
Operating in the 902 to 928 MHz UHF band for North America and Brazil, the W2 receiver is compatible with Evno A2, A4, and AH transmitters; add an additional mic and transmitter for dual-channel operation. With 99 IR-selectable channels, you can run up to 5-6 systems simultaneously, making it suitable for large horn sections and doublers using multiple Evno microphones.
