Evno Microphone Systems SPX2-Air Overview

The Evno SPX2-Air system combines the advanced SPX2 double-element soprano saxophone microphone with the compact Evno Air wireless system to deliver unmatched clarity, detail, and realism. Handcrafted in the USA, this system is purpose-built for capturing the full nuance of the soprano saxophone in both solo and ensemble contexts, without coloration and with exceptional feedback resistance.

SPX2 Dual-Element Microphone for Soprano Saxophone
The SPX2 features two carefully tuned microphone capsules mounted to a single bell-mounted clamp. Designed to reproduce the full voice of the soprano sax, one element is positioned above the keys and the other in front of the bell. Their predetermined frequency mix balances tone and projection, capturing the most natural acoustic image possible.

Ideal for soloists, section players, and high-volume settings alike, the SPX2 avoids common feedback issues while preserving tonal detail—even in loud environments. The mic body is precision-machined with optimized venting and suspended in a 7-point O-ring system to minimize handling noise and vibration. The integrated Stay-Flex gooseneck holds its position securely and adjusts easily for proper placement. The mic terminates in a 3-pin mini-XLR connector and supports both wired and wireless setups.

SX-CL Bell Clamp
The included SX-CL clamp provides fast, stable mounting to the bell of the soprano saxophone. A spring-loaded grip ensures consistent height and placement, while a secondary reinforcement screw locks the mic in place for active stage use. Compatible with all Evno SX-series mics for alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones.
Evno Air Wireless System
Compact and portable, the Evno Air receiver delivers high-quality wireless audio with a small footprint and folding antennas. It includes a 1/4" output for direct connection to mixers or D.I. boxes. Choose between standard AC power via the included 9V adapter or 4 hours of mobile operation with 2 AA batteries—perfect for travel, pedalboards, or remote venues. This version is designed for use in the U.S., Canada, and Brazil and operates in the 900 to 928 MHz UHF spectrum. The Evno A1 is a beltpack-free clip-on transmitter that attaches directly to the SPX2 microphone. Lightweight and discreet, it integrates seamlessly with the Air receiver to deliver clean, low-latency wireless performance.
