Evno Microphone Systems SX Overview

The Evno SX is a handcrafted saxophone microphone system designed and manufactured in the USA to provide a natural, uncolored reproduction of sound for alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. Built to handle the dynamic tonal range and projection of modern saxophonists, the SX offers maximum gain before feedback while preserving the detail and nuance of your tone. From solo settings to horn sections and high-energy live performances, the SX is a reliable, flexible solution that lets your playing be heard exactly as it is.

Spring-Loaded Clamp with Secure Positioning
The SX system features the Evno SXCL bell clamp, made from lightweight aluminum and designed to mount quickly and securely to your instrument. A spring-loaded mechanism enables fast transitions between horns, while an optional reinforcement screw provides extra stability during high-movement performances. The clamp positions the mic capsule at the optimal axis point of the bell and accommodates use with soprano saxophones if desired. The 5.5" USA-made Flex-stay gooseneck holds its position while remaining easy to adjust, keeping the mic clear of keys and hand movement.
Wired or Wireless Ready
The SX system includes the Evno PS95 phantom-powered preamp for wired use and ships with a cable compatible with both the PS95 and Shure wireless systems. The microphone's 3-pin mini XLR output supports wireless setups from Evno, Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, and McCormick (adapter cables for some systems sold separately or available in bundles). For clip-on wireless use, the mic can be directly connected to Evno transmitters, allowing for full mobility onstage. Whether mounted for wired studio use or adapted for wireless live applications, the SX delivers consistent, professional-grade results.
