Compact, Low-Profile Design
Featuring one of the smallest suspension-mounted microphone heads on the market, the VLX offers a compact, low-profile setup that remains unobtrusive during performance. The right-angle microphone body combined with a flexible 4.5" gooseneck allows for precise positioning anywhere on the instrument, while the seven-point O-ring suspension reduces handling noise and vibration.
Secure and Adjustable Mounting
The included VLX-CL Clamp offers a sturdy, side-mounted design that attaches quickly and securely to your violin or viola without damaging the instrument. The padded, aluminum clamp opens from 33.4 to 50.8mm and features dual thumbscrews for secure placement of both the clamp and the microphone body. The design allows players to easily position the microphone over the strings or near the F-hole as desired.
Versatile Wired and Wireless Options
The VLX system includes the PS95 preamp/power supply for wired use and is fully compatible with wireless systems. The included cable connects directly to the PS95 or Shure wireless transmitters. For wireless setups, the VLX pairs seamlessly with Evno, Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, and McCormick systems, with optional packages available for each brand.
