Designed for a wide range of near and mid-distance applications, the RCF COMPACT C 45 WP, is a multipurpose two-way passive point-source speaker that can be mounted in most locations including outdoors. The speaker features a 15" woofer and 1.4" compression driver, which delivers 138 dB SPL with a frequency response of 48 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). A constant-directivity rotatable waveguide produces coherent 100 x 50° coverage for the listening area with high SPL, and distortion-free sound. The sleek and lightweight wood cabinet uses a special polyurea coating and a robust powder coated grille with protective foam.

Big Sound, Compact Size
Elegant design aesthetics, RCF reliability, and signature sound, delivering a pleasing audio experience in any application, from sports halls to nightclubs, corporate spaces, and performance venues. Compact C Series provides excellent acoustic performance for both background and foreground music. For enhanced weather resistance, the WP model features an acoustically transparent, water-repellent fabric discreetly embedded within the grille assembly and IP67 Amphenol Ecomate power connectors.
Precision Transducers
High Frequencies
- The compression driver voice-coil design with titanium dome provides very natural sound with high power handling and the best durability over time. This allows lowering the usual crossover point for a perfect vocal performance at mid frequencies, also improving coupling with the low-frequency transducer.
Low Frequencies
- Low-frequency transducer design gains more stability over higher currents, with less distortion, and is highly efficient in terms of heat dissipation. RCF quality control is very strict. Our woofers are tested with a 200 hours continuous signal to stress the transducer at extreme levels.
Constant Directivity Waveguide
The special waveguide design allows the deployment of COMPACT C speakers with accurate control of the directional characteristics. In difficult acoustic environments, intelligibility is significantly increased. The speaker also features a 100 x 50° rotatable constant directivity waveguide. Using the optional HN-KIT COMPACT C 32 C 45 accessory, it is possible to replace the speaker horn with two different horns and change directivity to 100 x 25° or 60 x 25°.
Impressive Sound Solution
COMPACT C flexibility makes it a smart choice for a wide range of applications. Combining high-quality birch plywood cabinets with a 100 x 50° rotatable constant directivity waveguide, the speaker can be installed either horizontally or vertically. The sleek cabinet features a robust polyurea coating and is easy to be flown-, wall-, or truss-mounted using the multiple rigging points available and optional accessories. The back panel provides two IP67 Amphenol eco|mate power connectors for the WP version.
Certified System Under EN 54-24:2008
Leveraging decades of experience in large-scale installations in critical venues such as stadiums, arenas, amusement parks, and motor racing circuits, RCF provides high-performance audio solutions serving concurrently as sound reinforcement and voice alarm systems. Our EN 54-certified point-source and line-array loudspeakers, derived directly from live concert technologies, deliver exceptional sound quality and excellent performance during emergency situations.
Compact C Series
Compact C Series is composed of two-way point source speakers for near and mid-distance high power applications. Each model combines a compact size with very high output for accurate speech and music reproduction. All cabinets are made with high-quality birch plywood, house a neodymium woofer with a titanium/neodymium compression driver, and a 100 x 50° rotatable constant directivity horn. Speakers can be installed either horizontally or vertically, with optional mounting accessories for walls or ceilings.
Remarkable Transducers
- High Frequencies: The 4" compression driver voice-coil design with Polyimide-Kapton dome features a new bonding technology and reinforced ribs, making it 10x more durable than previous designs. The redesigned phase plug increases sound clarity, enhancing transient response and improving coupling with the low-frequency transducer.
- Low Frequencies: Low-frequency transducer design gains more stability over higher currents and with less distortion, and is highly efficient in terms of heat dissipation. RCF quality control is very strict. The woofers are tested with 200 hours of continuous signal to stress the transducer at extreme levels.
