This compact, 5.5" touchscreen field monitor with a durable aluminum chassis features 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs so you can view your 4K footage without the need for down-converting.
High Contrast and Brightness
The LCD panel features a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 1200 cd/m² brightness for a crisp viewing experience, even in sunlight. Other features include 10-bit color depth, HDR HLG support, and 3D LUT input. Numerous professional imaging tools are built in for accurate monitoring, including waveform, vectorscope, histogram, and more. It is powered using a power adapter or the rear Sony L-series type battery plate.
12G-SDI Monitoring
Reduce the complexity of your 4K workflow with a single 12G-SDI connector rather than four 3G-SDI cables to monitor a 4K video image. There is no need to down-res your image in the monitor. The connector supports up to 12 Gb/s transmission rate, supporting high-resolution video with high frame rates.
4K Input and Output
Equipped with support for video monitoring up to DCI 4K60 and UHD 4K60 signals, compatible with professional camcorders and the latest DSLR cameras on the market. In addition, the H5 also provides a 3.5mm headphone jack to monitor audio.
5.5" Full HD Screen
The high-resolution 5.5" IPS panel features a wide field of view and 10-bit color for a richer image. A 160° wide viewing angle allows multiple people to monitor the image from all angles.
Calibration and Color Gamut
The monitor is calibrated with CALMAN professional calibration software, and it covers the DCI-P3 film-grade color gamut.
Rugged Housing
The housing is constructed with durable CNC aluminum, protecting the monitor in all types of rugged production environments.
Custom Shortcut Keys
On top of the H5 are three custom buttons to set shortcut functions in advance, letting you quickly call up the required functions during the shooting process.
HDR Monitoring
When HDR is activated, the display reproduces a dynamic range of luminosity, allowing lighter and darker details to be displayed more clearly. This monitor provides support for HLG1, HLG2, and HLG3 HDR types.
Touchscreen Control
The touchscreen LCD allows you to use tap and swipe gestures for quick navigation. There is also a scroll wheel for a more tactile experience.
