Bright and lasts long between changes. I particularly like the red function for astronomy. The build seems robust.

Amazing brightness but too many options with one button

This is an incredibly bright and small flashlight. There are about 16 options, including a red LED, with one button and one selector wheel. Seems like unnecessary complications for a flashlight but it works quite well.

Can you turn on and off the red light directly, without turning on the white light at all?

The Olight Oclip Pro Rechargeable Clip-On Light (Black) (B&H# OLOPROBK) allows you to turn a dial around the power button to select which of the three emitters you want to use without turning on either of the others. The red emitter, in particular, is marked with a letter "R."
