The KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig Frame from Bright Tangerine provides all the accessories you need to configure your cine camera shoulder rig. The frame features a BUD-compatible dovetail, ARRI-standard rosettes on the sides, and a 15mm LWS dual-rod clamp.
The BUD dovetail design provides a 6.5" sliding range when mounted onto a compatible quick release base such as a BUD-1 or BUD-3 bottom plate. There are measurement markings on the side to ensure your setup can be easily replicated. It is compatible with the optional VCT-14 mounting set, KASBAH handgrips and extension arms, optional shoulder pads, or a rear 15mm mount to create a versatile shoulder rig.

The pad secures to the KASBAH shoulder rig frame via a mounting slot with a safety release mechanism, allowing you to balance the pad along a single axis. Its open structure allows airflow to reduce sweat and dissipate heat while conforming to the contours of your shoulder.
Mount your KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig onto a standard VCT-14 plate with the VCT Mounting Kit from Bright Tangerine. As part of the KASBAH Ātman system, the adapter mounts onto the front of the separately available KASBAH Ātman frame using captive anti-twist screws. If you are utilizing a shoulder pad with the frame and require more space for adjustment, the rear foot is removable.
The Universal BUD Plate from Bright Tangerine enables your camera to be moved effortlessly between shoulder rig, baseplate, gimbal, and handheld setups. This adaptability is possible thanks to its compatibility with the 88mm BUD standard and a variety of BUD accessories, including the KASBAH Atman shoulder rig, LeftField 3 BUD baseplate, stabilizer adapter mounts, gimbal dovetails, and ARRI’s own BUD products. Designed for universal compatibility, the plate features a flat surface that adds only 0.8" to your setup, minimizing bulk while accommodating any camera. Add adjustable handgrips to create a solid shoulder rig with the KASBAH 15mm LWS/19mm Studio Handle Kit from Bright Tangerine. The kit integrates with the KASBAH support system and includes two handgrips, two rosette shoulder connectors, and a 15mm LWS/19mm Studio rod bridge.
The two handgrips feature soft, comfortable handgrips, and they mount onto rosette arms that allow the handgrips to rotate 360°. Each of the adjustable arms features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads so you can mount additional accessories. The rosette shoulders mount the handgrip arms onto the rod bridge, and the entire assembly can be mounted onto standard 15mm LWS or 19mm Studio rod systems.
The Bright Tangerine KASBAH Rear 15mm LWS Dual-Rod Mount secures to the back of the KASBAH tman Shoulder Rig Frame, allowing you to mount rod-based accessories on your shoulder rig configuration. Two M4 screws attach the mount to the frame. A winged lever tightens and loosens both clamps at once.
This pair of Bright Tangerine Drumstix 15mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods is extremely lightweight yet amazingly stiff, allowing you to add rod-mounted accessories to your rig with virtually no flex in the rods, something every owner, operator, assistant, and rental house will appreciate. Each 9" long support rod is extremely lightweight yet exhibits less flex than carbon fiber rods of the same length, and it is lighter than either steel or aluminum rods while being at least as stiff and strong. Made from titanium, the rods are corrosion resistant, and each is machined and ground flat to prevent binding as you mount accessories.
