Canson Infinity Edition Etching Rag II Reviews
Excellent paper, approaching Canson BFK Rives PW
Another of my favorites. A hefty, pure white (not too warm or cold), slightly textured matt paper. I’m using 24” rolls and cut sheet to which they perform identically. This paper comes close to the rendering of Canson BFK Rives Pure white but is less expensive, making it a fantastic lower-cost staple without sacrificing results. For those familiar with Canson surface textures the Edition Etching is more (pleasantly) textured than Photograhic Rag 310 (smooth) and less textured than BFK Rives PW and WAY less textured Aquarelle rag. In other words from smoothest to most textured – Photo Rag 310, Etching rag, BFK Rives PW, Aquarelle rag. NOTE: The ICC/AM1X package posted by Canson for the Canon Pro-2600 printer is incorrect for this paper. It has the wrong printer and paper in the package. I use the ICC for Canson Edition Etching (version 1) paper which seems to work OK. I wrote to Canson via their support page on this topic with no response.
