My favourite M-Mount adapter
I bought Thypoch's M-Mount adapter mainly because of the dual-locking system, which prevents the positive locking ring to become fully disengaged, so that the attached lens can't accidentially fall out of the mount. Of course, I don't use this feature all the time, but it gives me the added safety I was missing with my c7 M-Mount positive locking adapter. Overall, the mount is well machined and has a snug fit on my Canon's RF-Mount. Functionwise, engage the secondary (safety) lock either before or after attaching the lens to the mount adapter; if the safety lock is being engaged before attaching the lens to the mount, it automatically snaps in when you tighten the locking ring. Before detaching the lens, disengage the safety lock before untightening the locking ring of the lens mount adapter. The adapter comes with interchangeable, flat/grooved grip tabs for the locking ring, including screws, torx key, but no shims. Instead, they added a storage bag in leather look. So, either B+H's "What's in the box"-description is wrong and there are no shims included, or my package was missing these. Anyway, this nicely designed and well-thought-out adapter quickly became my favourite M-Mount adapter.
