Design features include gasket sealing that makes the case dust and waterproof, a molded-in hinge for added strength, and seven stainless steel-reinforced padlock holes. The case is further resistant to a variety of hazards that you may encounter such as impacts, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, solvents, corrosion, and even fungi. A pressure relief valve comes into play especially during air transport by regulating the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop.
