Optimized for both commercial distributed systems and sound reinforcement applications, the AtlasIED CLA804 is a 4-channel 800W power amplifier with a unique Power Sharing feature that allows for configurable power levels to be applied to different zones regardless of load impedance. With a uniquely efficient output stage, this power amp stays cool, even when pushed.
The CLA804 is capable of operating in 25, 70.7, and 100V modes or in low-impedance 2-, 4-, and 8-ohm modes. The system is designed to be incredibly energy efficient, consuming just 1W in standby mode, and relying on simple convection cooling to remain frosty, even during demanding operation. When this is not sufficient, a low-noise variable-speed fan kicks in to maintain a low temperature. Input for each channel is via line-level block connectors, and the power amp also features remote level control and GPI connectivity via block connections. The internal power supply is of a universal, switch-mode design with auto sensing, making it compatible with global power input.
The CLA Series amplifiers are so efficient, generating so little heat, that most of the time they operate in a convection-cooled state. If additional cooling is required, the variable speed whisper-quiet fans will engage.
