Ideal for indoor spaces like educational facilities, restaurants, malls, hotels, and much more, the AtlasIED DA-22SYS is a 2x2' ceiling-mounted active loudspeaker with an internal PoE amplifier sporting up to 15W on a single channel, and a coaxial speaker with an 8" LF and 1" HF driver. With convenient Dante input, you can easily integrate this speaker into modern audio installs.
The drivers on the DA-22SYS are optimized for reproducing speech and general PA messaging. The 105° conical dispersion provides a wide coverage for any environment. The loudspeaker can operate in single- or dual-channel mode to drive a secondary passive 8-ohm speaker. The system can provide up to 10W per channel in Dual mode. You can refine the sonic performance with EQ settings, level control, and much more via the AtlasIED Discover software, which can also allow you to organize your speakers and provide name tags, among many other convenient functions. The top cable access plate can be easily removed during installation, and when your install is done, the plate will conceal the Ethernet cable terminations completely.
Audio input is via a top-panel mounted female RJ45 connector. All models are compatible with Audinate’s Dante digital audio transport platform.
Through this software, the active IP speaker can be discovered on the network with the ability to custom name each speaker with a location tag for system management. The AtlasIED control software features an audible ping-me locator making it convenient to physically locate the speaker. System tuning can be done on an Individual speaker or by an assigned group.
The secondary speaker output shares the same factory EQ settings as the DA-22SYS. Amplifier levels can be adjusted separately.
