Designed for scenarios where a separate back can installation is desired, the AtlasIED FC-8DRV is a passive 2-way coaxial IsoFlare loudspeaker with a 8" LF and 1" HF driver. Intended for ceiling mounting and supplied without a back can, this pre-install driver provides maximum installation flexibility.
The FC-8DRV can handle up to 90W RMS of power and sports a block terminal for audio input. Advanced driver features include a ferrofluid-cooled titanium HF driver, a weather-treated multi-fiber cone for accurate midrange, fluted surround technology to avoid excessive internal reflections, an optimized smooth transition baffle, which prevents diffraction, and a robust neodymium magnet system. The 60W 70/100V multi-tap transformer provides extremely low insertion loss and offers an optional 8-ohm bypass mode. Tap selection is easy with the easy-access rotary tap selector. You can access enhanced voicing presets via the AtlasIED Atmosphere software platform.
