Upgraded from the previous model with lower readout noise, a higher frame rate, and a matte finish, the ASI-Cooled Monochrome Astronomy Camera from ZWO enables beautiful photos of deep-sky objects. Equipped with a full-frame Sony IMX455 monochrome CMOS sensor, the camera achieves 61.2MP resolution with 0.8e read noise, 6,3 frames per second, and no amp glow. The two-stage thermoelectric cooler lowers the sensor temperature by 95°F below ambient, dramatically reducing dark current noise for a clean image even with very long exposures.
The polyimide heater prevents condensation from interrupting your imaging, but you can also turn it off to save power. Speaking of power, you'll need a 12V, 3A DC power supply (5.5 x 2.1mm, center-positive) sold separately.
